STEVE SMITH Steve Smith - English Rugby Legend
Steve Smith gained the first of his 28 caps in Rugby Union in the 1972 England tour to South Africa. The following year he was with the England Sevens when they won the first ever World Cup Seven Series, as well as North West Counties for victory over the All Blacks at Workington. Captain of England in 1982/83, he also played for the British Lions in New Zealand in 1983. Since 1991 he has covered 3 World Cup Finals as a commentator for ITV. He has also pursued a highly successful parallel career in business, with the company ‘Cotton Traders’ he started with Fran Cotton in 1987 now boasting a turnover of £45 million.

JACK CHARLTON Jack Charlton - English Football Legend
Achieved more as player and manager than almost any other man in the history of English football. A tall, determined centrehalf in the only English side to win the World Cup, he returned twice to the premier stage as manager of the Republic of Ireland. Galvanising his adopted nation’s team he led it to the finals of the 1988 European Championships before confirming his status as national Irish hero by guiding the Republic to the quarter-finals of the 1990 World Cup.
